46th ANNUAL CONFERENCE AND EXHIBITION

Tuesday afternoon saw the arrival of the Conference team at this year's chosen venue, the De Vere St. David's Park. In addition, a few exhibitors took the opportunity to arrive and set up their stands in preparation for the following day's exhibition. As the Conference was this year located in the North West, it presented an ideal opportunity to meet with members in the region. Arwel Griffith, of the former IMBM, had arranged a meeting in Liverpool and as such, Rhys Taylor, President, David Smith, Deputy Honorary Secretary and Kate Borill, Deputy Chief Executive, travelled to Liverpool to inform members of how the revised regional structure would operate. Unfortunately, neither traffic nor the weather was on their side; however, the meeting proved to be a success, with many important points raised and clarified.
