Never judge a book by its cover! The cover of this small, pocket-sized handbook is unlikely to grab the attention of anyone browsing the shelves in a library or shop. Nevertheless, for over 23 years Watts plc has produced a book crammed with useful information for all Building Engineers. As the title suggests, this 2007 edition brings together chapters reflecting recent changes in legislation and technical guidance which affect our dynamic industry including the Regulatory Reform Order, the European Directive on the Energy Performance of Buildings, High Hedges and ASBOs and Home Information Packs. However, this rate of change also means that, very soon, some information in the handbook will become outdated particularly regarding Building Regulations and Health and Safety.
