Sorghum [Sorghum bicolor (L.) Moench] is attacked by more than a hundred diseases (Singh et al. 1993). Grain mold is one of the most widespread and devastating diseases of sorghum. Although about 40 fungal species have been found associated with thisdisease complex, only three--Fusarium moniliforme, F. pallidoroseum, and Curvularia lunata--are predominant.
