摘要

Under the theme of "Success built on failure" the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) organised a two-day conference in Dublin, Ireland, on 23 and 24 August 2006. This international conference was primarily concerned with safety for the construction industry and was supported by the national professional safety organisations of America (ASSE), Canada (CSSE) and Australia (SIA). The conference attracted over 150 delegates from the UK, Ireland and the supporting nations, representing a wide range of interested groups from Government (central and local), national agencies, safety professionals, consultants, insurance, the construction industry and many other areas of commerce and industry.
