FIRE GATEWAY

The Fire Gateway has now gone live. The site contains a wide range of fire related content and links -www.fire.gov.uk Users are now able to go online to complete their own home risk assessment. This gives them a personalised fire safety plan, which highlights specific fire risks in their property and provides them with targeted advice to address the identified risks. People can also fill out an online self-assessment to see if they have the attributes required to be a firefighter. Users can also use the Fire Gateway as an easily accessible link to their local Fire and Rescue Service website. Additional transactional functionality will be introduced to the Fire Gateway later this year.
