CB&I Awarded Gorgon LNG Tank Contract

CB&I has won a $550-million contract from Chevron for the LNG and condensate storage tanks at the Gorgon LNG liquefaction project on Barrow Island. CB&I's scope of work includes the engineering, procurement, fabrication and construction of two 180,000-cu-m full containment LNG tanks, four condensate tanks and the associated piping, electrical, instrumentation and civil works. CB&I's portion of the project is scheduled to be completed in the third quarter of 2013.
