Climatic change is happening as manifested by the increase in the variety of pests and diseases STRI agronomists encounter on a yearly basis and how diseases are seen throughout the year and not just for one or two months. As a consequence, identification can be much more difficult now than, say, 15 years ago. Clearly pinpointing which disease the turf is affected by is crucial in both achieving a cultural and, if needed, a successful chemical control.
