Dana Makes 5th Significant Discovery

Dana Gas has discovered gas in the West El Manzala license with the Az-har-1 well, which is set to add up to 100-billion cu ft to the company's domestic reserves.Drilled to a total depth of 3,150 m in the upper Sidi Salim formation, the well revealed 18 m of net pay in a good quality sandstone reservoir of the Qawasim formation. The initial production test from an 18-m interval yielded production of 15,100 Mcf/d of gas and 444 b/d of condensate through a 32/64-in. choke.
