OMV Makes Find at Tornado Sidetrack

OMV (U.K.) Ltd. has confirmed the presence of gas and oil in the Tornado well in the U.K.'s West of Shetlands area with both an initial discovery and successful sidetrack. The discovery well 204/13-1 and sidetrack -lz were drilled in a water depth of 1,048 m using the Stena Carron drillship. Further appraisal drilling is required before making a development decision.
