The Australian government will not force the partners in the Greater Sunrise gas project to build a pipeline and onshore LNG facility if the partners choose to go with Shell's proposal for a floating LNG (FLNG) plant (ION, 25 Feb 02, p3), Minister for Industry, Tourism & Resources Ian Macfarlane said last week.
