PREPARING FOR THE 1998 OPEN ROYAL BIRKDALE AND THE STRI - A TEAM EFFORT

As Official Agronomists to the R & A Championship Committee, STRI plays a key role in ensuring all Open Championship venues and Final qualifying courses, meet the stringent standards demanded by the committee. STRI visit all venues in the UK hosting R & A events in the year of the tournament and also a number of years prior to the event. STRI is also on hand during the "Open" week to support the Course Manager and his team. (Our hospitality tent will be situated next to BIGGA).
