Petrobras Boosts '09 Oil Output 6.3%

Petrobras said its average domestic oil and gas production in 2009 was 2.287-million b/d of oil equivalent (b/doe), 5.1% more than in 2008 at 2.176-million b/doe.Oil production topped-out at 1.97-million b/d, a 6.3% increase over 2008, when the average was 1.855-million b/d. Petrobras' gas output in 2009 averaged 50.34-million cu m/d, or the same as in 2008.
