Hassi Berkine Oil Field Beging Producing

Anadarko Petroleum last week said production has started up at the Hassi Berkine (HBN) oil field on blocks 403 and 404 in the Sahara Desert (ION, 10 Sept 01, p 2). Anadarko holds a 74.5% interest in the field and ,with Sonatrach, is operator for block 404.
