Baker Hughes Wins Zubair Contract

Baker Hughes has won a $640-million contract to drill 60 wells in the southern Zubair oil field, government spokesman Ali al-Dabbagh said on Tuesday. In 2010, ENI and its partners (Occidental, KOGAS, the Iraqi National Oil Cos., South Oil Co. and Missan Oil Co.) signed a technical service contract, under a 20-year term with an option for further five years, to develop Zubair.
