Alstom Wins $1.3B RWE Job

French turbine maker Alstom said Monday that Germany's RWE has awarded it a ?1 billion ($1.3 billion) contract for the turnkey construction of the UK's largest combinedcycle power plant. The 2,000 megawatt gasfired plant, at Pembroke in Wales, will be capable of supplying around 3 million homes.
