Tesoro Brings First Oil Through Panama Pipe

Petroterminal de Panama (PTP) announced Thursday that it has made the first crude oil shipment from the Caribbean Sea to the Pacific Ocean along its 81-mile pipeline across the Isthmus of Panama. The shipment of an undisclosed amount of Colombia's Castilla blend will be processed at the California facilities of Tesoro, the US West Coast refiner said.
