US-listed ERHC Energy, which has interests in six oil blocks in the deepwater joint development zone (JDZ) between Sao Tome and Principe and Nigeria, is looking at expanding its business in Nigeria. ERHC said Wednesday that it has signed a non-binding memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Nigerian firms Circle and Excel Exploration and Production, through which it will negotiate the acquisition of an interest in Nigeria's shallow-water Eremor field in the southern Niger Delta.
