Alliance Refines More Crude

Russian midsize independent Alliance Oil said Thursday its refining volumes climbed 7% quarter-on-quarter in the three months to Jun. 30 on the back of stronger demand for oil products, while crude production remained flat. Preliminary refining volumes at the Stockholm-listed producer’s Khabarovsk plant in the Russian Far East were up to 6 million bbl in the second quarter, compared to 5.6 million bbl in the first (IOD Apr.15,p2). Sales of oil products reached 6 million bbl while crude oil production was unchanged at 3.8 million bbl, or around 41,760 b/d.
