A German consortium plans to build a 576 MW wind farm in Liverpool Bay, 18 km off North Wales. The UK project is majority-owned by power firm RWE Innogy, the renewable arm of RWE, with a 60% stake. Stadtwerke Munchen, the mu- nicipal utility of Munich, holds 30% and engineering group Siemens 10%.
