Moscow and Ashkhabad have reportedly agreed gas purchase terms eight month after Russia stopped receiving Turkmen gas following an alleged explosion along the Cen tral-Asia Center pipeline network that supplies Turkmen gas to Russia. The issue was on the agenda during a oneday unofficial visit to Moscow by Turkmen leader Gurbanguly Berdimuhammedov and meeting with his Russian counterpart Dmitry Medvedev. Although no official statement followed, Russian media reported that Moscow and Ashkhabad have agreed terms pursued by Russia's natural state giant Gazprom.
