Bahamas Terminal May Expand

Owners of an oil storage terminal in the Bahamas are weighing a $350 million investment to add 6 million bbl of light product capacity to a facility around 100 miles northeast of Miami. The facility, owned by Netherlands-based Vopak and US private equity firm First Reserve, already has capacity of 21 million bbl, most of it managing crude oil and heavier products.
