Tokyo Gas Joins Sengkang LNG

Tokyo Gas has signed a heads of agreement to take a 25% stake in Energy World Corp.'s (EWC) Sengkang LNG project proposed in South Sulawesi, Indonesia. The Japanese company will also hold exclusive talks to buy 500,000 tons/yr of LNG from the project once it starts production, EWC said Wednesday in a statement, adding that the rest of the proposed 1.5 million ton/yr capacity will meet domestic demand.
