Russia-Belarus Row Threatens Oil Supplies

Russia and Belarus have yet to reach a new oil supply and transit agreement for 2010, raising the possibility of a disruption in supplies to European customers (IOD Dec.30,p1). A similar row three years ago led to a complete halt in oil shipments via the northern leg of the Druzhba pipeline, hitting supplies to Poland and Germany.
