Gazprom Offers Storage

Russia's Gazprom is making its debut as a direct provider of third-party gas storage services inside the European Union. Firms are invited to register their interest between October and December in bidding for up to 40 MMcm (1.4 Bcf) of 2010 storage capacity at the firm's newly expanded Haidach facility in Austria. The available capacity will be auctioned Jan. 20, 2010.
