Snohvit Shipments Resume

Statoil has resumed regular LNG shipments from its Snohvit liquefaction plant on Melkoya Island in northern Norway after restarting production in December. The plant was shut in August for planned upgrading and maintenance (IOD Nov.10,p7). The Norwegian firm said the Arctic Voyager left Snohvit late Monday carrying around 145,000 cubic meters of LNG.
