Anadarko Makes US Gulf Find

Anadarko Petroleum has struck oil and gas with its Lucius exploration well in the deepwater Gulf of Mexico, marking the company's fifth discovery in the region this year. The well, located in Keathley Canyon Block 875, encountered more than 200 feet of net oil and gas pay. Lucius was drilled to a total depth near 20,000 feet and targeted subsalt Pliocene and Miocene sands.
