Green Light for South Arne

US group Hess and its partners are to push on with further development of the South Arne field in the Danish portion of the North Sea, according to a press release from one of its partners in the field, Dong Energy. Dong said its share of the investment would be 2.5 billion Danish kroners ($447 million). Dong holds a 34.4% interest in the field, with Hess holding 57.5% and opera- torship. Norwegian Energy Co. (Noreco) (6.5%) and Danoil Exploration (1.5%) hold the remaining interests.
