Gazprom Grows in Kazakhstan

Russia’s Gazprom Neft said Wednesday that it completed a deal to purchase retail stations in Kazakhstan in line with earlier outlined plans to expand its retail business outside Russia. An oil arm of state Gazprom said it acquired 20 fuel retail stations from Kazakh Arna Petroleum as well as nine land areas around big cities in central Kazakhstan. The company declined to provide any financial details.
