KPC Could Make India Bid

State-owned Kuwait Petroleum Co. (KPC) may bid with India's Oil and Nat- ural Gas Corp. (ONGC) for exploration contracts in India and elsewhere. Kuwait Foreign Petroleum Explo- ration Co. (Kufpec), KPC's overseas arm could join state explorer ONGC in bid- ding in India's next exploration round, top Kufpec official Ali al-Shammari was quoted as saying Tuesday by the Press Trust of India.
