Pertamina Gets Loans

Pertamina has secured $700 million worth of loans to fund its capital expenditure program going forward, newswires reported Friday. The Indonesian group agreed two syndicated loans worth $400 million and 3 trillion rupiah (US$303 million). Three local banks plus PT Bank Mandiri will arrange the rupiah loan, while sixteen foreign banks including Citigroup and BNP Paribas will provide the US dollar loan. The US dollar loan will incur an interest rate of 4.18% over the London interbank offered rate (Libor), the reports said.
