Gazprom Neft Sets Plans

Gazprom Neft is doing its best to meet its goal of boosting output to 2 million b/d by 2020 despite falling production from older fields. Output dropped 7% to 594,000 b/d in the first half of 2009, Gazprom's oil arm said in a note accompanying results under US GAAP standards (IOD Sep.10,p7). The decline was greatest at its traditional production units, including Noyabrskneftegas in Tyumen, but was partly offset by increases at Priobskoye and fields in the Tomsk and Omsk regions.
