Gazprom Outlines Italy Plan

Russia's Gazprom Neft has outlined plans for the lubricants plant in southern Italy it bought in April from long-standing partner Chevron (IOD Apr.23,p7). Gazprom's oil arm said it intends to produce and sell some 11,000 tons of lubricants this year, 2,800 tons of them under the Gazprom Neft brand. The goal is to increase output to 20,000 tons by 2011 and meet 20% of the Italian lubricants market.
