PTTEP Eyes LNG

Thailand's PTT Exploration and Production (PTTEP) expects to produce 1 million-2 million tons of LNG from fields in Australia after 2015. A company spokeswoman said the Cash/Maple gas fields in permit AC/RL 7 PTT - which PTT bought in February from Coogee Resources - are believed to hold significant gas resource potential. The Thai explorer will conduct more seismic this year and may start appraisal drilling next year.
