Interior Secretary Ken Salazar defended his department's cautious approach to oil and gas leasing and shed light on the Obama administration's thinking about fossil fuels on Tuesday.Salazar told the Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee that the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) will hold 32 onshore oil and gas lease sales this year.
