JKX Confirms Hungary Find

JKX Oil & Gas announced Thursday the completion of a successful appraisal well that confirms the commerciality of the gas discovery made by the Hajdunanas-1 exploration well in Hungary in August 2008.JKX, which is listed on the London stock exchange, has a 50% stake in the Hernad licenses, where the Hajdunanas wells were spudded. The licenses cover a total of 5,420 sq km in northeastern Hungary and are operated by Hungarian Horizon Energy (IOD Nov.26,p4).
