Aramco To Approve Giant Ventures Next Year

State Saudi Aramco and its joint ven- ture partners expect to give their final ver- dict on nearly $30 billion worth of petro- chemical projects in Saudi Arabia by next September, Aramco President and Chief Executive Khalid al-Falih told Internation- al Oil Daily Wednesday. “In the third quarter we should be mak- ing an investment decision,” al-Falih said. “We are moving incrementally with those projects. We are committing money as we speak to early finance, to early EPC [engi- neering, procurement and construction] activities,” he added.
