Qatargas LNG Heads to Canada

ConocoPhillips says the first LNG cargo from its Qatargas 3 joint venture has shipped. The cargo departed over the weekend from Ras Laffan Industrial City, Qatar, bound for the Canaport LNG Terminal in Saint John, New Brunswick, Canada. The Qatargas 3 joint venture was formed in 2005 by Conoco, which holds 30% inter- est in the project alongside Qatar Petroleum (68.5%) and Mitsui (1.5%).
