Australian independent Tap Oil is starting 3-D seismic work and spudding a well in Block M onshore Brunei. Tap said Friday that the seismic survey in the northern part of the block will complement the drilling program in the southern part of the Belait trend, where the first well, Mawar-1, is due to spud in the next few days. The seismic program will identify targets for possible drilling in 2011-12.
