New BP boss Bob Dudley says the compa- ny is likely to restore its dividend payments “in some form” in the first quarter next year, only six months after the costs of the Macon do oil spill forced its suspension. “The board will get together and talk be- fore the end of the year about restoring a dividend in some form in the first quarter,” Dudley told the BBC on Thursday, a day be- fore he officially took charge of the company “It's obviously for the board to decide, but from what I see happening in the perfor- mances of the businesses, I believe we will get there,” he added.
