The UK's Premier Oil has spent $72 million buying Delek Energy's 25% stake in Block 12W in the Nam Con Son Basin off Vietnam. Premier said the price tag is before adjustments and that the sale has an effective date of Mar. 31. It will pay via cash at hand and and undrawn facilities. The deal also provides for future payments up to a total of $10 million contingent on the development of fields in Block 12W other than Chim Sao.
