Maersk Buys Devon Stakes in US Gulf of Mexico Fields

Devon Energy has agreed to sell its interests in three Lower Tertiary oil development projects in the Gulf of Mexico to a subsidiary of Denmark's AP Moller Maersk for $1.3 billion. The Oklahoma City-based independent had announced last month that it planned to sell off all of its Gulf of Mexico and international assets by the end of 2010.
