Nymex Crude Hovers Near $80 on Positive US Economic Data

Crude and oil products hit prices not seen ince early August on Thursday as positive eco- nomic data helped give the market momentum one day after a bullish US inventory report. Nymex November crude futures rose $2.11 to $79.97 per barrel, the highest the ontract has climbed since Aug. 10. In Lon- don on the ICE Futures, November Brent ettled at $82.31, up $1.54. Nymex October gasoline, on its last day before expiry, umped 4.93￠ to end at $2.0448 per gallon. More widely traded November gasoline fin- shed at $2.0361, up 5.32￠.
