The UAE’s Dana Gas said Thursday that revenues from the sale of hydrocarbons in the first quarter of 2010 totaled 411 million dirhams ($112 million), a 66% year-on-year increase, thanks to higher production and prices. Gross profits grew 138% to 162 mil- lion dirhams (IOD Nov.13,p6). Production rose 36% to 4.5 million boe/d. Operations in Egypt, where nine fields are now produc- ing, yielded 3.53 million boe/d, 33% up on last year. The Abu Dhabi-listed company said its share of output from projects in the Kurdistan region of Iraq grew 50% to 970,000 boe/d.
