Russia Pencils in Slide in Black Sea Oil Exports This Month

A rebounding domestic market and construction work at one of Russia's main oil ports have combined to produce a sharp drop in projected crude oil exports this month. Crude oil pipeline operator Transneft has penciled in Russian seaborne oil exports of 2.69 million barrels per day (11.011 million metric tons) in June, down from 2.749 million b/d (11.624 million tons) in May, according to final port loading schedules (IOD May6,p3). The figures exclude the Ukrainian port of Odessa.
