Gazprom Eyes Offshore Reserve Boost

Gazprom has unveiled ambitious plans to boost offshore gas reserves by 5.6 trillion cubic meters to more than 10 Tcm by 2020 and help it expand into the global LNG business. Deputy Chief Executive Valery Golubev told journalists that the Russian state gas giant plans to drill around 100 wells over the period to boost offshore reserves from the current 4.7 Tcm.
