Petroceltic Scores in Algeria

Irish explorer Petroceltic International said Tuesday that its AT-2 well, drilled at the Ain Tsila field in Algeria, has hit extra gas pay. The company is now preparing to test the well, which hit a 100-meter gas column. Tests at the nearby AT-1 well have seen flow rates of 33.78 MMcf/d. The well, covering Blocks 228 and 229a in the Isarene permit, could produce up to 40 MMcf/d, Petroceltic said.
