Iraq Aims for 3 Million b/d by End-2011

Iraqi Oil Minister Hussein al-Shahristani says Iraq could boost production to around 3 million barrels per day by the end of next year, around 500,000 b/d more than now, as international companies get down to work on their 20-year service contracts.
