Santos to Reveal Gladstone LNG Cost Estimates 'By April'

Cost estimates for the Gladstone LNG (GLNG) project planned for Queensland in eastern Australia should be revealed very soon, according to a leading executive from project partner Santos. Commercial and marketing department executive Peter Mitchley told a Singapore LNG conference Wednesday that "there are some issues we need to solve with contractors which may provide delays of a couple of weeks. But it's fairly imminent - we were planning to have that data by March or April."
