AFK Sistema is considering attracting a strategic partner for producing subsidiary Bashneft, which recently won the right to develop the giant Trebs and Titov oil fields in Russia's Nenets region. “We have been approached by various companies, Russian and foreign, with an of- fer for a strategic partnership since we were announced the winners of the Trebs and Titov race,” Sistema boss Leonid Melamed told journalists recently. He added that the company will not “necessarily” choose a partner, but is looking at the option.
