Russian Natural Gas Firm Opens Up in Turkmenistan

Russian natural gas company Itera this week opened a representative office in Turkmenistan, 17 years after it first started working with the Central Asian state, which potentially holds the world's fourth largest gas reserves. The Dec. 22 opening ceremony in Ashkhabad was held in the presence of the two countries' deputy prime ministers, Igor Sechin from Russia and Baimuratov Hojamuhammedov.
